Improving sperm after finding elevated dna fragmentation

Hi-
DH had 30% dna frag on the comet test; now he hadn’t ejaculated in 14 days so that probably didn’t help his number.

That said we want to optimise it, he is good from point of view of no varicoceles etc. Apart from taking proxeed plus, anyone recommend any other actions to get him to good? Interested to hear what other did and the before and after numbers.

Figuring we might as well work on improving it before retesting as it’s costly so we will retest in feb/March.

Thanks!

No alcohol, no cigarettes, no tight pants, saunas, phone in pockets etc

8-10 of his 5 a day and a generally a very healthy and balanced diet.

Vitamin c, coenzyme c10. Increase water consumption, decrease booze and caffeine

Thanks. Sounds like proxeed has most of it covered so. He doesn’t smoke and alcohol intake is one or two drinks once a month. Not a big coffee drinker, eats pretty well.

Do you think exercise is important? He is within bmi etc but quite sedentary given office job

We are currently in Fertilaid. Will have to wait to see if it’s had any affect
