Hello. I did post this on the conception board but maybe the wrong place, so I hope its ok to post here..
History: off contraception 3 years, regular intercourse, have endometriosis and not PCOS but do have longish and odd cycles. Never seen a positive pregnancy test, 26 years old and alarm bells ringing.
Fertility doctor has tried Clomid, 3 rounds 50mg, 3 rounds 100mg, low progesterone each time.
I’m now on my 4th round of Femara but upped to 7.5mg. My last progesterone test on 5mg Femara was 19.5 nmol/l and no dominant follicles, which probably signified a crappy medicated cycle and it was an early period this time, with spotting ever since.
Where do I go from here if this one fails? I’m trying to think of options and questions to fire at the fertility doctor next time I go. Surely I can’t keep taking these meds indefinitely?
