London Immune Clinics recommendations please

Just that really.
Weirdly, I have just found out I'm naturally preg after having an ivf baby 9 months ago.
Now the shock has set in, I'm very anxious because even though I had secondary infertility with no known cause, I did apparently have high NK cells.

Can anyone recommend a clinic...or just any other advice. Would rather just see a consultant rather than having to wait ages...

I’m not too much help because I went to Zita West and had a good experience so would recommend them, but just wanted to say I’m in the exact same boat! Had a baby 9 months ago after my 3rd ivf cycle, having had NK issues identified and addressed and I’ve my 12 week scan this week for a natural pregnancy! I did think about going back to the clinic for advice when I found out, but thought sod it, this has happened naturally, let’s see how it goes. I had a private scan at 7 weeks, so fingers crossed this weeks one will go well too. Still in shock though! Hopefully someone else can come along with a recommendation.

Also with ZW and happy. But I think ARGC do immunes?

Pregie - what a coincidence, although you would have fallen before 9 months if you are about to have your 12 week scan? Congrats!

My husband is very much your school of thought and I thought I would be too but I do feel anxious. I keep thinking about getting so far down the line and then it going wrong, when I could have maybe done something to prevent it. But I never really believed whether the NK cell was the reason I wasn't getting pregnant. I always thoughts it was because my lining got too thick after ovulation. So can I ask if you did any research to make you think it was ok to just let nature go for it? I can't find any studies about what happens to NK cells after a baby and or ivf treatment.

Yep I think my little one was just over 6 months when it happened! No research done, just a mistaken belief that it would never happen naturally for us! So so hard to relax though, completely understand the anxiety. If you can do anything to help alleviate it, such as getting in touch with a clinic for advice you should. For me, I don’t think I’ll believe it’s happening until the end of the week!

Can I ask where you went for an early scan please? Is 7 weeks the recommendation? I know that's when they do it during Ivf.

I went to babybond (or ultrasound direct I think they’re called now) - seems to be plenty of them around. 7 weeks is normally when you can see a heartbeat, so I didn’t want to go earlier in case it was too early and I’d have to go back a week later for my own peace of mind!

Do they just do heartbeat then? Did you have any other tests? I'm totally wavering about whether to just let things happen or whether to intervene. I wish there was just a test to check for NK cells once your pregnant. It's been nearly 3 years since I had the test and I know they can fluctuate. I wish there was a bit of literature online about what generally happens to your immunity if you are pregnant within a year of last pregnancy!

Yep Just heartbeat and size - and we didn’t get to hear the heartbeat, just saw it flicker on the screen, which I was a bit disappointed about! Haven’t had any other tests done outside of the normal ones at my midwife booking apt. Nerves are kicking in for this next scan now, just want it done! How many weeks are you?

I'm only 4 weeks. Can't remember the exact day my period started but I know the week! So yep, 4 weeks so ridiculously early. Had lots of cramps which I always do and no period so I figured it had to be that! Also since having baby, my period has just started with no or very little cramping.
Cramping makes me nervous. I've got it now so just having a camomile tea which I never drink! Being at home on mat leave making wait worse. At least before I was very busy at work.
Yes, baby no 2 was IVf. I didn't enjoy experienced and fell out with them financially so after the 7 week scan I never got in touch with them. Too much history there to go back.
