Follicle size?! Long cycle...

Hi,

Went for a Private tracking scan - day 10 of a 34 day cycle - one follicle at 10mm and a lining of 3.9mm. Obviously this is hopeless if I was due to ovulate on, say, day 15 but I usually ovulate on day 20. I've had millions of Clomid cycles so not expecting this to work but just trying to interpret the data (sonographer "isn't an expert" apparently so couldn't offer insight ). Would you say I'm out or is there still hope.

If the follicle grows at the usual rate, then you would ovulate in a week. But I’m not sure what’s going to happen given it’s a medicated cycle and ovulation can presumably be tricky.

Thanks JoJo. Yes this is what I'm wondering. After all this time I should be an expert but doubting logic. I think they grow 1mm or so per day so fingers crossed.

That size folly seems normal for cd10, especially if you have a 34 day cycle. The cycle I conceived on clomid I had a 14mm folly on cd12 and ovulated around cd18/19.
Follies grow at a rate of roughly 1-1.5mm a day. You are certainly not out. Good luck!

I had confirmed ovulation cd 15/16 (overnight). Morning of cd12 follicle was 13mm.

What about lining though - is that likely to increase enough?!

My lining was 7. Something mm at the cd12 scan I had. Folly size increase = lining thickness increase

You could start on the rasberries red leaf tea. That’s supposed to increase lining?
