Am I Pg?! Hcg trigger shot confusion

Hi,

I'm 9dpo after receiving fertility injections and a hcg trigger shot. My DH said I should test even though I was trying to hold out for 2weeks- he's more impatient than me. So I did a clearblue yesterday morning and the line was so faint it was barely there, today i did another and it was much darker - but still quite faint in the grand scheme of things.

I'm so worried it's actually just testing the hcg from the trigger shot which is highly likely. What do you think?

Getting darker is good. If it was the trigger shot it would be getting lighter 😊

How big was trigger shot? Usually allow 1,000 per day - ie 10 days to get rid of 10,000. (Caveat my brain can’t recall the units, but I know I was 10 something units and it was thus 10 days). I tested daily to watch he hcg leave my system so I knew what it was when it came back...

9dpo is extremely early to have hCG in your urine from pregnancy rather then the shot. You’ll need to test in a few days to know for sure.

Sorry I meant to type 10dpo - I'm losing the plot! So I'm 10dpo and 12 days past trigger. The trigger was 10,000 so quite a lot to be in my system. I know testing at 10dpo is really early and silly but i kind of wanted something to compare to when I test again in a few days.

I tested at 6 days past a 5 day transfer (so 11 dpo equivalent) and mine was a similar line which got darker each day. Good luck!

I also had a bfp 6dp5dt=11 days after ovulation. My hCG levels haven’t been high at all so I imagine that your line is possible at 10dpo if your levels are on the high side. Test in a couple of days to know for sure.
