What does my AMH test result mean?

Hi
I ordered an AMH test online and Ive just gotten back the results but I have no idea what the numbers mean.
First I thought 134.0 would = 1.3 which would mean i have very very low AMH.
Then i figured 134.0 might mean very very high (I have polysistic ovaries)
I've attached my result down below.
Any Help is greatly appreciated.

I've just compared to my results and it looks like you also have PCOS. I think anything higher than 40 is classed as PCOS?

Hi Belle,

So what was your exact number to be classed as having PCOS? If its higher than 40 doesn't my 134.0 seem super abnormal?

Thank you so much for responding by the way.

Mine was 90 pmol/l - my consultant said they had seen loads higher than mine though and told me not to worry too much they just have to be careful with stimulation drugs as increased risk of OHSS!

To diagnose PCOS, they’ll look at a lot of other things. However, as per the reference values in your table - the result is sky high.

For pcos it’s compared to LH prior to the diagnosis. You can be diagnosed with pcos with very low levels if the baseline with your LH is right.

I have PCO too (but not PCOS) and my AMH was around 112 if I remember correctly.
The Consultant wasn't concerned but I am doing short protocol IVF and will be more at risk of OHSS.

I'm not sure what stage you're at but don't worry, although it looks very high your result doesn't have any negative impact on your chances of conceiving.

(About 20% of people have PCO but most never realise as it's not an infertility risk factor by itself).
