Blood tests and SA

Hi guys

I had my CD21 blood test last week and partner got his SA through and its in two weeks time.

So this cycle the clearblue sticks told me i was ovulating so i guess the blood work should be fine, say if the SA comes back fine too- what happens next? Will they do further tests on me like (hycosy) or tell me to keep on trying? I had told GP it had been two years trying, married for six. She was a bit unconcerned really said i was only 27 and this was my peak fertility.

Also if SA comes back bad/low, do they straight away just put on waiting list for ivf? Or more tests?

Any advice would be appreciated by anyone gone through something similiar Smile

Thanks

Hi! Our SA was bad enough (2% morphology) that they sent us straight for ICSI due to male factor infertility. I can't help but feel they should have done some more tests on me but they seemed to think that IVF/ICSI bypasses whatever faults the woman has. I had to beg for an HSG after our first transfers failed, as I hate not knowing whether there is or there isn't something wrong with me too. Still don't know, really. My friend got pregnant with her husband's 0%-3% morphology sperm so... I think if nothing wrong with the sperm then they will do more tests on you. Likewise if they see anything strange in the bloodwork.

Hi thanks for that! If my bloods come back fine will they still refer for the hycosy test?

I got my bloods back today, all fine just very low vitamin D and have been given a prescription for this. On my notes it says no further action required and i can have a referral to healthy lifestyles if i need to. Will see what happens after husbands semen analysis comes back
