Acupuncture

Hi I'm new to this group and probably doing this all wrong but here goes! I've been TTC for 2 years now I've had all fertility tests recently and everything come back fine had my hycosy test last week and everything looked good. Me and my husband have been placed on the waiting list for IVF which is around 12 months. Lots of people have told me about acupuncture being good when trying to conceive I was wondering if anyone had ever done this or heard good things about it?

I did 3 sessions last cycle and I felt like it did good things, I had cramps around ovulation and felt like my resting heart rate had settled down. It might just be bollocks and it's all in my head but it's worth it just for the placebo effect...

3 failed icsi attempts, so my mum recommended that I try acupuncture before our last and final frozen blast was transferred. She had been told of one that had had 100% success rate. If anything we were convinced it would give us peace of mind that we'd tried everything.

Unbelievably it worked, despite our initial skepticism and we now have a 10 month old boy. I wish you luck, but please do not pin all your hopes on it. I took floradix supplements and changed my diet along with the acupuncture BTW.

Apparently in California it's completely standard to have acupuncture alongside IVF treatment.

Only trying for 6 months but v irregular cycles. It seemed to bring them to 28 day cycles and she is now 12. Relaxing too.

I've been doing acupuncture for months now. I find it relaxing. Can't comment on how effective it is other than reading studies that demonstrated it improved IVF success rates. I did notice that my luteal phase got one day longer but that's about it.
