IVF help - Wandsworth CCG NHS rules

Hi All,

I have quite a specific question and would be very grateful for anyone's insight or experience.

I believe Wandsworth CCG permits 1 round of IVF, subject to the various criteria. Does anyone know whether the rules around private treatment stipulate that you can't have had ANY private treatment or whether you just can't have had a SUCCESSFUL round of private treatment? Or final option, that you can't have paid for more than say two rounds or private (assuming unsuccessful)?

I believe it might be the last one but very grateful if anyone has any direct insight or experience.

Thank you!

www.wandsworthccg.nhs.uk/aboutus/Governance/Pages/Policies-and-Procedures.aspx click the Criteria for Access to tertiary Assisted Conception link

If you have kids they won't fund it
If you have had more than 2 rounds of private cycles they won't fund it
If you are 40-42 then you can't have had any ivf
