Ivf drugs - confused!!
PeeVee · 18/09/2017 19:28
Hello!! I've just had my ivf drugs delivered to me and I start my Down regulation sniffing drugs tomorrow. The paperwork sent by my clinic says that they have provided me with a schedule of when I'm supposed to take all my drugs, but all they have talked about is when I start nafarelin (sniffing drug) and then when I'm supposed to take injections (gonal f). But I've also been sent utrogestan and ovitrelle. I am going to call the clinic tomorrow but I just wondered when I'm supposed to take these. thanks!

Those will depend on how long the stims phase takes.. they will let you know when to take the trigger shot nearer the time!! They need to see how your follicles are growing before they can schedule that bit, but rest assured they will make sure you understand the next steps!!
Good luck with the down reg!

Thank you ladies! It would have been helpful if in the instructions sent by the clinic they just wrote a one liner saying I didn't need to worry about those drugs for now. Oh well, maybe I'll just tell them this as constructive feedback.

Utrogestan is progesterone and you'll take it probably from the day after egg collection. They just need to make sure you have everything ready and waiting for when you need it.
Lots of luck.

What bigger said. Your clinic will give you a very specific date/time to take the ovitrelle which is dependent on when your follicles are large enough and when your planned egg collection.
The utrogestan you don't start until after your egg collection-again the clinic will advise you about when and how to start this.
