Hi, I am having a FET tomorrow and I have acupuncture sessions before and after. For anyone who has tried this, could you tell me what it involves? Will I have needles all over my body or just on my stomach? Thanks

It will depend on what the acupuncturist is trying to achieve. I had them from the top of my head to my hands and feet at various sessions!

I've been going to acupuncture regularly. Depending on the session it involves needles all over the body (literally from feet to the top of the head). Sometimes I also get something burning/smoking on top of the needle on my stomach. At the end of the session, I get cupping and some stuff rubbed into my back and sometimes head.

Hi! An hour before my fet I had needles in my ears, forehead, wrist, hand, stomach, shin and feet. This was a specialist session to draw energy to the uterus (the right ear is apparently especially important). After the transfer I had a second session with needles in similar locations but minus the stomach. This session was to help the body accept the embryo. Each session was about 45 minutes. It was thoroughly relaxing!
Wishing you so much luck, got everything crossed for you xx
