Myself and husband have been TTC for 11 years now .. only found out my two sisters are both pregnant within 5 days of each other .. although I am over the moon for them can't help but feel gutted at the same time 😔

Oh op that really is shit. Please be kind to yourself. There are no words that will make you feel better, but you are not alone in your heartbreak and so many of us on here can relate

Poor you. 11 years Is such a long time. Have you had investigations? Looked at/done ivf if applicable?
Apologies if that's totally obvious -just looking for background.

It's awful when other people are pregnant and you're not- especially family.

yes I have had test and have blocked tubes .. think the correct diagnosis is hydrasalphinx and also pcos .. obviously on the outside I am showing I'm over the moon but no one knows really deep down how I feel in the family.

It took me 10yrs ttc to get preg and 4 failed ivf and every time someone said they weee preg it hurt , eep those that ttc for 4mth - or got preg by accident - Obv inwas happy for them but thought why can't it be me , esp those preg with no 2 or 3

You said you had tests and shows blocked tubes. Have you done ivf?

If not then I suggest this be your next step

I think you need to look at other options after 11 years OP.

Hi thanks again for your supportive comments .. because I need to lose 3 stone they have said they will not even consider looking at me .. I'm now 41 and just loosing hope

Is private IVF an option? Their results are generally better and theyre not so bothered about weight. Although I suspect your age may be an issue for NHS and private?

I'm so sorry. We are slowly coming to realise we will likely never have children. It is heartbreaking.

I can offer no good advice but to be kind to yourself. Do what you need to survive this.

If you really want to make sure you've tried all options then I advise paying for ivf

COz of my age when started ivf 39 plus df had kids do no nhs / ee had to pay and coz I didn't have much time according to consultant that we took out loans and put ivf on credit cards

I won't lie. Paying monthly payments back when failed is bloody awful

But it's a risk we weee going to take as didn't have the time to save

Still paying madam off now - she's 5mths and took 5 attempts and £27k but worth every thousand when she sees me and smiles

Sorry about you've been trying for 11 years? How many years in did you get investigations?

Is the reason you've not received treatment all this time is because of your weight? If that's the case for number of years, then I don't mean to be rude or insensitive but why not lose weight?
I have PCO and was over weight but as soon as I started fertility investigations, I joined slimming world and lost weight as fast as I could. Maybe you don't want children as much as u think you do.

Please don't tell me what I want u don't know me n my situation !! I find that last comment very insensitive like u say .. thanks anyway
