Always great to hear when you're struggling from infertility ☹️

Yes indeed, it gave me a startle when I saw the BBC "news flash" on my phone an hour or so ago.

Then I looked on the DM website and it's all "breaking news...baby number 3" etc

Yes my DC1 was born at the same time as Prince George but we've been struggling to make DC2 since then and still no luck (and one miscarriage down). My whole NCT group are busy with DCs 2, 3 and 4! I'm delighted for them, but it is a bit of a slap in the face sometimes, isn't it?

Oh I remember how awful I felt when the news was all over the place about her first two pregnancies. It's just another kick in the teeth when you're dealing with fertility problems to be bombarded with pregnancy news.

Really really hard after trying for baby number 2 for a year with 2 failed IVFs inbetween and I came in my period yesterday 😭

I stopped taking the pill the day they got married.
Three rounds of ivf later and we have decided to be happy with our child free status.

It's really insensitive the way they make such a song and dance in the media about all these "celebrity" pregnancies. I quit Facebook to avoid all the baby pictures popping up on my feed when I lost my last baby. It's heartbreaking.

I don't think they've made a song and dance of it, they have to announce it. Plus she's very ill, she deserves some sympathy I feel.

Honestly. We are fine. We have completely made our peace with a child free life.
