Hello Ladies,
I am wondering if any of you went/ is booked for the hysteroscopy at Croydon University Hospital? My GP referred me to see Dr Booker and his team and I am just waiting for the first consultation. I was told by two IVF clinics that I need to do it first (as I got some liquid in the left tube) before IVF treatment. I am just wondering if anyone knows how long the waiting list could be at this hospital? Any idea would really help me to decide if I should go private or not. Many helps

Hi! I'm under Croydon for my treatment. I had a hysteroscopy as part of the process well before my IVF treatment actually started. For me this was done in the initial stages when they were trying to find out if anything was wrong. I think I had it around 3 months after my first consultation (there were other tests going on during the previous 2 months). But I would assume everyone is different, if you have a known issue then they may ask you to do yours sooner. Booking it wasn't a problem, I got an appointment the same month. All in all I've found them to be really nice, kind, considerate and caring. Hope this helps.
