Hi,
I am scheduled for 5th attempt overseas (FET) soon and went for endometrial lining scan yesterday (day 11).
Lining was usual thick 12-13mm but clinician advising lining was homogeneous with NO sign of any triple layer. I know from my last failed transfer I did not have triple layer and now stressing about how this seems to be essential for embryo to implant?!?
I spent last night reading various articles, journals & statistics on IVF success with homogeneous lining and all results point to need for triple layer.
Does anyone know of success without having triple layered lining? Also what causes you to NOT have it?
Just to make me feel even more crappy clinician then advised I have a 3-4mm fluid filled cyst right in middle of lining. Wtf? She thought it could be a pregnancy sac but I definitely know I am not pregnant. I have never had anything like this spotted before at scan and only difference this time is I had endo scratch few weeks ago.
I am booked to fly out soon and now panicking that transfer will be cancelled or if done will most likely be another failure.
This most likely will be our last attempt as have a few good Frosties left but emotionally now I have that gut feeling that again this will fail.
Any thoughts on no triple lining or what in the bananas this cyst could be as well as what it will mean for my scheduled transfer would be very much appreciated. Xx
Ps. I have (tried to) attach photo of lining with cyst!
