Low AMH

I have been TTC for nearly 12 months. I recently went to a fertility clinic who said my FSH was 7.8 which is apparently ok (I am 40) but my AMH was 3.70. I had 2-3 follicles on each ovary.

I have a five year old daughter which we conceived fairly quickly. I am desperate for a sibling for her and not even sure what these results mean. Has anyone else had any similar results and conceived. My husband is being stubborn and won't get a sperm test. I had a miscarriage earlier this year and he figures its worked twice so he must be ok!

I have been using the OPK's and getting smiley faces and have regular periods.

The fertility doctor was quite airy fairy and said he wouldn't recommend IVF anyway with so little follicles. I just don't want to waste anymore time so any advice welcome. My head is spinning.

thanks in advance

Your results are looking good. I'm sorry your husband is being uncooperative. Perhaps he would at least take Proxeed or Profertil and improve his lifestyle? That could help make his sperms as good as possible. Also is he a few years older than you? Older men tend to have much poorer sperm.

I would also say that it might take you a little longer given your age and you haven't even been trying for a year which isn't that long at all. To improve your chances, you could take the female version of the supplements, make sure your diet and lifestyle are good or even try things like acupuncture.
