Where have my follicles gone?

Just come back from a private scan and so confused by what I've just been told. Basically they said they couldn't see any follicles. I had a scan last month before Hysteroscopy and I had three. Plus I've been told I had three at every scan over last year.

I knew I had low amh/really low follicle count, but surely they can't all have just gone? I conceived naturally in June (although miscarried) How can I now have no folicles? Is that even possible? Sonographer just kept saying she couldn't see any!

So sick of all this shit and endless upset. I feel like giving up on life today.

So sorry to hear that isthismummy, really hope you are hanging in there this journey is just so absolutely shit. I have low amh and have had a number of scans with very few folllicles, the number does seem to sometimes go up as well as down so I don't think all hope is lost yet. Horrendous news to get at a scan

I had a hystereoscopy at Serum last month zippybear I just blew a fortune on a private scan cos I'm on day 16 of new cycle and haven't ovulate yet. That is how mental this journey has made me.

I has three follicles last month at Serum and had just ovulated when I was scanned then.

I wish I hadn't gone now. I don't really know what it means and Serum are closed for August so I can't ask them

Everything feels very wierd right now. Loads of cramping and twinges. I don't know what's going on!

Don't Panic yet. The no of follicles go up and down month to month.

Ps so sorry to hear about the miscarriagebut clearly all cannot be lost if you conceived so recently.

Thankyou Chattycat78 It'll definitely teach me to not waste money on private scans when having a panic stricken moment. All I found out is that I'm nowhere near ovulation on cycle day 17.

Is it possible you've already ovulated and that's why she couldn't see any? Maybe it could be that the dominant follicle has already collapsed post ovulation. Yes, this 'journey' totally messes with our minds and bodies, and we become so attuned to our bodies that anything out of the ordinary feels like disaster. Sorry for your loss

I definitely haven't ovulated Weedance I temp and I've had no temp change, EWCM etc.

I have no idea where my follicles gave gone. Sonographer was more interested in telling me how gassy I was
