Clomid to control FET cycle? Should I?

Hello, I had a failed round of IVF in June and am planning my first natural FET cycle.

Prior to IVF I was prescribed clomid by a private consultant (much to the NHS's disproval) and I have a months supply left.

Without clomid by cycles are between 28 and 32 days but for the five months I took clomid my cycles were exactly 28 days every time.

My clinic isn't open on weekends and if transfer day fell on a weekend, they cycle would be abandoned. If I took clomid, I would more accurately be able to calculate whether transfer would fall on a weekend or not.

If the dates were looking good, do you think it would be ok to take clomid in the month of a natural FET? Please can you tell me if you see any downside? Thanks!
