Which embryos should we use first?
How likely are we to get pregnant with these grades?
What grades did you have successful pregnancy with?
I think 5AA is best according to our clinic.

I would use your 5AB, but the clinical are the best to advise you. Success is not just based on embryo quality (which is based purely on how the embryo looks), there are so many factors, lining, immune system, genetic quality of embryo, not to mention a whole lot of luck! I had a failure recently with an absolutely perfect embryo.
Good luck x

What is the number preceding the letters? I would have thought that meant number of days, but your sub headings suggest not?

I second Scottish. You can pick the best grade but doesn't necessarily mean it will end up in a pregnancy and so much other stuff effects the outcome.
I, with PCO and low AMH, had a 4BB embryo put back.
A friend (no infertility, male factor) had a 5ab embryo put back.
Im 13 weeks pregnant and my friend is having her 2nd attempt later this year.
Luck of the draw.

From what I've been told and our own experience, Day 5s are more likely to succeed than Day 6s. Good luck!
