Me and my husband have been TTC for over four years now. After various tests we discovered that the problem is to do with me not ovulating regularly. I had a 6 month course of Clomid but unfortunately that was not successful and my body didn't respond as we would have hoped to the clomid and the best we got was one folicle per month and some months didn't produce any folicles. I found this very frustrating and feel like we wasted that time but we weren't allowed to proceed to IVF until we had attempted 6 months on clomid. We have now been referred for IVF at the Countess of Chester hospital. We have our first appointment with the consultant at the end of September. I was wondering if anyone else has had ivf at Chester so we could share experiences. Our consultant at warrington went through the process with us before she made the referral but already it seems to be different to what she said and I am getting very stressed not knowing what to expect and everything seems to be taking so long! Would be great to hear from anyone xx

How have you been getting on? We have just started fertility tests at the countess. Have you started IVF yet or is there a long waiting list?
