Hi there

I am looking at clinics in the Czech Republic for this and I was wondering if anyone had any insights as to which to go for as I am seriously torn! I am currently looking at Gynem, Reprofit and Gennet. They all seem good so far from what I have been able to read but it would be nice to speak to someone with direct experience.

Hi, I have done ivf with own eggs at Reprofit. Excellent clinic, despite my failed cycle. I'm flying out next week again for the next round. I believe they are the cheapest of the reputable European clinics with great success rates. Highly recommended. Good luck!

Thanks for coming back to me, it's good to hear that you have good things to say about Reprofit, I hope that you get a positive result from your second cycle! All of the clinics I have contacted have sent an extensive checklist of tests that need to be done, do you just go to your gp and ask for them before approaching a clinic or does the clinic have to ask for them on your behalf?

Your GP should do all of them for you if you've been trying over a year, or 6 months if you are over 35. Apart from Amh which needs to be done privately. It can take a while to gather the results as they need to be done at right time in cycle and referral for sperm analysis and ultrasound can take time. Have you been told you need donor eggs? x

Thanks for that yes I have been reading up about it all and I was not expecting anything to happen quickly! No I haven't been told that but I have a genetic disorder and I have only been offered PGD in the Uk which is not for me I think, so the second we agreed now might be the right time was sending out emails to all the clinics I have had my eye on for the last couple of years! I had better look about for a private clinic for the Amh then, you are so helpful, thanks!

My friend also used Reprofit recently (3 month old baby now), with Pgs on her own eggs as she has a genetic condition that she didn't want to pass on. Clinics will discuss with you and find the best option for you xx
