Confused back from infertility doctor

Had transvaginal scan, nurse said lots of follicles on left ovary and that it wasn't pcos. I have a large ish cyst on right ovary but have a blocked right Fallopian tube.
Seen specialist afterwards, he said it could turn into pcos, can't start me on clomid yet as wants to see if cyst is gone in 2 months, if not operation.
Why can't he just remove it now.

This is such a long journey and I'm feeling more and more sad about everything

Did you already know about the blocked Fallopian tube? Because that cannot be seen on an ultrasound... so that's odd. I get you. This whole process is so shit. I've never tried harder to end up at exactly the same place....

I too had lots of follicles on the ultrasound. How many is lots? For me it's was at least 20 on each, if not more... we do make a few follicles at the start of each cycle. Polycystic ovaries is not the same as pcos and shouldn't in itself be a reason not to conceive.

My first appointment was July 3rd. Next on not til August 28!!! I'm almost half way though the wait!! Woohoo!

Hsg showed blocked Fallopian tube not internal scan.

I didn't even ask how many follicles were there 🙄 I didn't think, I was just happy to hear I didn't have pcos but then the doctor says that lol

I'm just hoping it has gone by my next appointment, as then I could be waiting another month for the operation.

Nope. And I don't expect any course of treatment next appointment either. I never expect to go an appointment and get a course of treatment. I used to go to my gp expecting them to do day 21 tests and they never did anything. Always left me upset, so now I go expecting no hope and no help...
