I just want a child

I've been bio-baby-bombed so many times with friends and family and this week got adoption-bombed at work and I just want to scream!!!!

I never had a Dad and DH would be such a wonderful father. I want to hold my baby and tell them, 'I have got for you the best Daddy in the world.'

I'm sick of people telling me, 'You'd be such a good Mum!'

I'm so sad and angry and feeling such despair at the moment.

Feeling for you. How long have you been trying? The pain of it all is so intense.....

About three years now. Starting to feel it won't happen although I'm 36 so should still have some time in theory What about you?

Have you tried all the different options - ivf etc?

I'm very fortunate to have one 6yr old but trying desperately for another with my 2nd husband. I'm nearly 40 with diminished ovarian reserve. I know how hard I find it and I have a child so I can't imagine how hard it is for you...

Why do some spammers want to persist pushing their dodgy clinics, all in Kiev, Ukraine, all over this board? Who can tell? Maybe it's because it's so bad they can only get clients by lying, cheating and scamming people?

I wish I had some advice but I don't as I'm in the same boat. Infertility is shit. I'm sorry.

Blondie my GP wants me to try everything else possible before IVF, for various reasons. So frustrating. Can't afford to go private.

Have you been to consultant. After 3 years of trying you are well within your rights to demand a referral to a fertility specialist - the guidelines say that anyone over 35 trying for more than 6 months should be referred

ToothTrauma you have my full sympathy. It's totally shit and I am at the end of my wick with it all. 4 years in for us but when you're ploughing through treatment options it doesn't matter how long it's been.

Where are you at with treatment?

I can't offer any advice but I personally am comforted by others just telling me they feel the same.

Do not listen to these people. Many people like to speak offensive words to other people. You need to learn not to take their words to heart!
