Anyone any idea why I would be referred for a US Pelvis transabdominal examination?

Hi can anyone help with the above? What are they looking for? Can anyone share any experiences? Worried.

It delineates your uterus including its lining , your Fallopian tubes and your ovaries.
It is a very frequently used test looking for all manner of abnormalities as well as confirming normality of n certain situations... what are your symptoms?

Thanks yikes! I have no symptoms (that I am aware of?) but had a HSG a fortnight ago and the specialist was going to speak to the consultant about a leakage in one of my tubes? Got the letter this evening and didn't get a call from the consultant as promised. Early in the stages of fertility diagnosis, just worried more as my smear test result hasn't came back either. Confused
