Progesterone pessaries /injections /brand??

Anyone know if progesterone injections have higher success than pessaries??

And how do cyclogest and utrogestan compare?

My foreign clinic prescribe utrogestan (400mg twice a day), which in UK is licensed for oral use only. So I'd be using them off-label as vaginal pessaries. Whereas cyclogest is designed as a pessary and is available in UK. Is there a general preference?

I'm going into a FET cycle after failed fresh and trying to ensure I give it the best possible chance of success!

Thanks x

I've been prescribed Utrogestan pessaries for my previous 2 rounds of ICSI, 200mg 3 times daily, that was by my fertility clinic here in the UK.
I got on fine with them, easy to use, not too much leakage.
Got my first ever BFP on our second round but it sadly ended in a MC.
Hoping to do a FET soon and will be happy to use them again, got lots left over so might as well use them up!!!

All the best with your FET xx

Thanks coco! Yes it's utrogestan I used in my failed fresh cycle.
I got them from my clinic in Czech Republic last time. This time I ordered in UK and the pharmacy have sent me 100mg capsules that say oral use only. Where did you get yours from, what strength and did they say oral only? Thanks!!

Thank you scottish, it has been really tough but trying to move forward as best i can!
My previous cycles have been NHS ones so my prescription has been sent straight to me, i'm unsure who from i think its a company called Stork fertility.
Mine are called Utrogestan Vaginal Capsules, each capsule contains 200mg and it says on it for vaginal use. I have to use 3 a day, morning, lunch and evening.
They also come with a seperate box of applicators to go with them. X

I've never used the injections, but have used both cyclogest (200 and 400mg) and utrogestan. I found the utrogestan much less messy to use than the cyclogest, but the 3 times a day use of utrogestan is annoying whereas twice a day cyclogest is easier from that point of view.

Thanks both.
Earl - was your utrogestan sourced in UK? I use fertility2u and they've told me they can't source the 200mg vaginal capsules in UK, but it seems others can!
Thanks

Yes. Also from stork fertility (I think the company's registered name is biodose services but they trade as stork). They delivered it to me.
