I'm getting a bit concerned now... so bit of background: I was seen at the fertility clinic and they wanted me to have an HSG test done. I don't have regular periods so was prescribed provera to have a bleed prior to this test ( you need to have it done in the first 21 days of your cycle) anyway... after taking provera for 10 days, I got my period and therefore contacted the hospital for an appointment for the test. When I got to test day (7days following start of af) they wouldn't do it because I was still slightly bleeding. Fast forward another week and I'm STILL bleeding! Some days I think it is easing off (only needing a panty liner) but then it comes back again in full force!
I booked a telephone consultation today with my doctor as I'm getting pretty concerned....unfortunately she never phoned me back (really poor service!)
I was just wondering if anyone has had this type of prolonged bleeding after taking provera? Is it common or should I be concerned??
