Early blasto positive stories?

Hi everyone!

I had my transfer done today (first cycle IVF) and had one early blasto put back on day 5. A bit sad that it hadn't made it to full blast and worried its slow development doesn't bode well. Trying to keep as upbeat as possible - any success stories from early not quite full blasts at 5 days?

I had 2 early blastos transferred tuesday, so i am too caught between hope and fear! Its my 2nd cycle, had 3day tranfer that didnt take last time, so cautiously hopeful they made it early blast at least this time. Hope there are lots of early blasto sucess stories to give us heart!

Ah you feel my pain then! Yes, need all the positivity I can get right now. Think google might crash soon with all my early blast obsessive searching!

Hi both, yes I had 2 early blastos transferred at day 5. First cycle ivf and aged 30, I'd had it drummed into me that they would only ever transfer 1. So when they backtracked and recommended 2 due to the low quality, I thought it was all over. DD is now 6 months old and I had a happy and healthy pregnancy. Wishing you all the best. The wait is horrible but the fact you got to 5 days is a huge positive.

Pyjamas, my clinic says to wait 16 days post transfer to test! Not sure i can hold out that long!!!

I'm currently 34 weeks with an early blast. Previously, two 'perfect' blasts had failed so you just never know. Good luck!

I actually started this exact same thread back in October on a different forum. We had two early blasts transferred on day 5. Was told 30% chance of pregnancy, 25% of twins.. well both those embryos made it and are almost six weeks old!(hence why I am up at 4am!)

My 5 month old son was a morula on day 5 and didn't reach blastocyst until day 6! (He was a frozen embryo transfer). Fingers crossed for you.

Hi guys, I need some hope transferred two early blasts even didn’t give us the grade because they were not fully developed on day 5 so much worried I lost my baby before as I had a stillborn of five month don’t know how will I react if this cycles fail as well as I’m over 40 .

@Farwa81 how did it go I had two ungraded early blast/ cavitating Morula's transferred on Wednesday.

Yes :-) am pregnant with twins. One was early blast on day 5 and one was not frozen until day 6 by which time it was expanding, not sure what it would have been on day 5 but probably not even an early blast til later in the day. I've learnt not to take notice of embryo grading, stage etc. My worst ones were the ones that stuck.

@PMAmostofthetime , hey i had 1 early blast trasferred , 2BB grade , it was early blast and I got pregnant and I am pregnant now

Our only embryo hadn't reached blast stage by day 5. She's nearly 8 months old now :) good luck. Try and hold out to OTD if you can as early testing can just lead to more uncertainty and stress x

@PMAmostofthetime hope your doing okay? How did you get on? I’ve had 3 failed transfers now. Well 2 fails and 1 chemical / loss and just learnt that I only have early blasts left. 3 of them! I’ve got adenomyosis so I’ve been down regulating and doing so much and I’m worried as the embryo isn’t as good as the ones that have failed although I know adeno has a lot to do with it. X
