I know, I know it's not what I should be paying attention to but I am slightly worried about it. Apart from anything else we have some sharp-eyed family members who disapprove of IVF (I won't go into that) and who like to make criticizing others their favourite hobby.

We absolutely don't want to tell them about this until if/when we are successful. Can I expect to go up a dress size? (somebody told me to expect that). I just need to know to start preparing responses for comment on my change in size without giving anything away. Appreciate any feedback!

Keep a rough calorie count if you're worried, but you won't gain weight unless you eat more than you need to. I gained weight from medication, but only because it made me extra hungry and I ate 2500+ calories a day

I didn't watch what I ate and didn't gain a gram. A little more bloating at some points but no more than pre-menstrual bloating. Clothes fit fine but I was uncomfortable with one pair of trousers that pressed in exactly the wrong place.

didn't notice a difference at all.
