Embryoscope?

Whats your thoughts/experiences?
We have MFI, I am 31 with no issues AMH and FSH both in normal range for my age.
Two failed ICSI cycles. 1st cycle, 3dt of two good quality Embryos ended in a chemical and second cycle, 5dt of two blastocysts (one very good quality) was a BFN. No frosties.
So gearing up to try again. Had our review appointment and will do scratch for the first time with next cycle. Our doctor believes that Embryscope could benefit us. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Have you used it? Really hoping for 3rd time lucky.
Thanks in advance! Smile

Hi Penny, we are having embryos tracked using Embryoscope. My EC is tomorrow and then they will be in! I will let you know how it goes Z's
Good luck with your treatment!

Total waste of money, I found.

All it will tell you is which day your embryos arrest. What will you do with that information? It will make no difference to the outcome of your cycle.

Better just skip a step and pay extra for IMSI.

I' m sorry I didn't realise anyone had posted.

#Veinarde# I hope your cycle went well?

#MMXV# Have you had IMSI? I asked alot of questions after the second failed cycle. The Embryoscope and maybe a scratch were the only two that were recommended to me by my doctor at review. I asked about more costly procedures and tests and he was very negative about them.
Maybe a second opinion would be a good idea?

Hi Penny, my cycle worked! I got my positive few days ago Smile obviously can't say that is due to Embryoscope but the Dr was able to select the best developing embryo for the transfer and it worked! Smile

How did your cycle go overall?

Thank you!! Generally I found the treatment quite easy, quick and painless. I was on a short protocol only stimmed for 7 days. I have polycystic ovaries so responded very quickly. The EC was totally fine even on a local anaesthetic only. Didn't feel a thing. I didn't have any complication / pain/ OHSS so I felt back to normal the day after EC. We went to Norway for the treatment so we had a lovely holiday as well visiting Fjords and mountains, that helped me to take my mind off 2ww. I have to say I'm very happy with my clinic, they are really high tech and have great results. They told me it was 50% chance for take home baby, live birth which is very high.
I also had a scratch before the treatment. I don't know if that contributed to the positive result as I don't have anything to compare with, it was my first time.
When do you start your cycle? Did you make a decision on whether to go with Embryoscope or not?

Good luck xx
