Hi all,
I've previously had three failed IVF cycles, despite transferring good quality 5-day blastocysts. After the first two cycles, when we switched to The London Women's Clinic for the third, they tested my Thyroid and put me on Levothyroxine as my TSH was 3.84 (ideal range for fertility = 0.5-2.5). I'm January it was 1.4 so we did another round and it failed. Today I had an endo scratch and got my TSH tested to just double check it was ok. It's come back as 6.7!!! We're due to start IVF next week and I'm now panicking about having to cancel the cycle and, more importantly, why my TSH has shot up so much, despite being on Levothyroxine.
I will call to speak to a doctor tomorrow as I've only spoken to a nurse so far and she didn't have any answers, but in the meantime, is there anyone out there with any experience of this? If so, I would love to hear from you.
Thanks all
