Mild ohss?

I had egg collection yesterday morning. 16 eggs collected. Initially I was in quite a bit of pain, I'd say today is more severe discomfort rather than pain. I'm very bloated (look pregnant) and struggling to eat an average sized meal without feeling ridiculously full and bloated. Could this be mild ohss, or is this normal? And is there anything I can do to ease it please? Don't feel nauseous or anything.
Thanks

I had OHSS. I felt weak. I couldn't stand or walk for any length of time. I had a bath and after I got out I had to sit on the bathroom floor for ten minutes before I could summon the energy to got to bed. I know I had it as they had realised when I had egg collection so I had the tablets.
If you are worried then call the out of hours clinic line.

I don't recall being bloated but then I'm something of a lard arse anyway.

I had three cycles in all and only had OHSS on the first one. Even now, 4 years after, I know when I'm mid cycle as I can't go for my usual run.
On the two other cycles I felt a bit rubbish but rather like when you have a bad cold.

Best of luck. I hope you have lovely healthy blasts and they are all sticky.
(Oh and ask for the pictures of the blasts, our gave them to us, but only when we asked).

I meant to say, keep drinking water. Have a bottle or glass of water with you at all times.

Thanks so much for your reply. Definitely no weakness, been sightseeing all day in pushing 30 degree heat as our clinic is abroad. It's just bad discomfort when walking and feeling of fullness. Wondering if I'm just not drinking enough. Hope you went on to have a successful cycle x

Sounds to me like you are OK, but do give the out of hours number a call they will know much more than me. When I had it though there was no way I could have walked about in 30º heat.
Keep up the water, especially if it's hot.

All the very best. It is a very hard journey.

I had mild ohss after one ivf treatment. I didn't feel bad with it - slightly sore but nothing special. But I was treated for it and had a freeze-all rather than being allowed to continue with that cycle.

Can you go back to the clinic and ask them to do some tests (or whatever they do to determine these things)?

And take it easy and keep your water intake up.

Best of luck.
