So after many failed IVF/ICSI cycles which unknown cause of infertility (unexplained) and one miracle baby that was a spontaneous pregnancy I found myself wanted to go to a less invasive procedure. I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing or just wasting my time.

Currently I'm 7dpIUI. Started this cycle feeling very optimistic, however I'm now losing hope and feeling this cycle yet again is not successful.. to the extent where I'm not using my progesterone regularly. I think I need to hear some success stories or something to boost my confidence back to keep going.. this sure is a very difficult ride.

Also just wanted to know if you all were able to do a beta hcg test whenever you want to when would you chose to do it?

Funny I just read something in the duh duh duh Daily Mail about this ( from 2015 mind)

Not sure if my story will be of much help.
I'm currently 5w+3 following my second go of IUI (first failed). We were about to move on to IVF thinking that this round had also failed, but luckily this round seems to have worked.
We were ttc for two years and also had the "unexplained" diagnosis. I was feeling really hopeful at the start of this round of treatment but convinced myself it hadn't worked as time went on.
It's taken me a week to get my head around the idea that this might actually be true- waiting for our 6 week scan this Friday. So all I can say is it's worth a try as it worked for me
