IVF - when to expect bleed when on buserelin?

If you've been downregging, how many days were you on buserelin before getting your period? Last cycle it came on day 9 but it's not shown yet up this cycle although I've had a tiny amount of spotting for a few days. What do they do if you don't bleed... just postpone everything by a few days? This is for a FET.

I was checking ovulation this cycle and didn't get a positive so that would normally mean a longer cycle for me, but not sure how downregging affects things!

Anyone?

Hi I've been wondering this too. Ive been on the pill for 2 weeks before I started downregging. When I've looked on the Internet, it seems it last normal for Buserelin to hold up your period. I should come on tomorrow but I don't think that's gonna happen.
They tend to wait a few more days and if not ring them up, and they might put on something like nonethisterone (oelr however you spell it ) to induce your period.

I posted on the other thread - this happened to me on my last FET, but thought I'd give some more details here. All other FETs I have usually started bleeding a couple of days before the baseline scan which is on day 14 of buserelin. So I'd say you're fine so far!
What happened was
friday - baseline scan (not bleeding yet) - scanner said there was a cyst on my ovary (I don't have PCOS btw) which was probably delaying things but it would more than likely burst in the next couple of days and then I'd start bleeding. Booked another scan for Monday
Sunday - started bleeding
Monday - went for scan She was happy that lining was almost back to zero so I got the HRT drugs. And the cyst had gone.

I think I started HRT one day later than my schedule, but the nurse thought that we'd still be fine to stay on track with one less day of HRT. The progress scan showed my lining thick enough so I continued as originally scheduled.

When's your baseline scan? At our clinic they say that usually as long as you've had a full 24 hours of bleeding before the scan the lining will be at almost zero.

thank you! Baseline scan is on Fri. I was on norethisterone for a week starting cycle day 19 and started buserelin day 21. Had a CP last cycle (after fresh ICSI) so that could have messed things up a bit.

it came with a vengeance, day 13 of buserelin... scan was fine.
