Icloud54 · 27/04/2017 14:09

What were your 21 day levels? I'm due a phone call shortly off the nurse to let me know what my levels are.
What should I expect or what is normal?

On my first cycle of 100mg clomid my level was 25. Told that it needed to be >30 to indicate ovulation. unsuccessful cycle.
Second cycle of clomid and level is 15 but having a re test tomorrow as I think the timing was wrong.

What levels did you get ?

My level was 55 which indicated I did ovulate this month. Just have to wait and see if AF arrives. Nurse said anything over 35 shows ovulation.

I had several cycles on Clomid. Cycle 1 (50mg) level was 1. Cycle 2 (50mg) level was 7. Cycle 3 (100mg) level was 55, cycle 4 (100mg) level was 11. Cycle 5 (150mg) level was 75, cycle 6 (150mg) level was 48.

It apparently improves if you take it for several cycles in a row, and increases dosages can make a hug difference.

Could I be referred by GP to fertility specialist if my BMI is 31

Yes! As far as I know you could. It depends how long you have been trying. I went to my gp as I'm 38 and have been trying for over 6 months so got a referral straight away. I think you need to have been trying for over a year if you are less than 35. Go to your go and ask for referral

user I agree with blondienut if you're younger than 35 then just say you've been trying for more than a year. BMI of 31 shouldn't be much of an issue. Good luck!

icloud 55 is a good result. Fx !

arapunzel sorry about the result. Are you going to have an increased dose next time or keep going?

53 at 5dpo and 35 at 8dpo (ovulated over the weekend so taken on both days). So I ovulated but my progesterone was dropping early. But somehow I did manage to get pregnant that month.

Good luck everyone.

My progesterone level came back at 21. Not as much as I'd hoped for sadly but it can mean possible ovulation. Will just have to wait and see. Sigh!

Got PCOS and my cycles are really long, from 35 to 60 days. After trying for around a year and a half, me and my husband went to the fertility clinic beginning of last December. The doctor told me to start Metformin. Dosage was 500mg week 1, then went up to 1000mg week 2 and then to 1500mg on week 3. I was told that I will be on Metformin until I get pregnant and throughout the pregnancy. Was told to take 50mg Chlomide on the 2nd day of my period and for the next fives days. Had a scan and a blood test on day 27 of my cycle. The scan showed I ovulated (according to the FLO app, the ovulation strips and a few pains down below I must have ovulated around day 21). The blood tests were good too. The nurse said that anything above 30 shows ovulation occurred. My levels were 54.6. Really hope for a positive pregnancy test soon!
