Period before test date IVF... again

Just wondering if anyone can give me any hope - we have unexplained secondary infertility and have just gone through our 2nd round of IVF resulting in failure again as if this morning as my period came 9dp3dt - last time it came 10dp2dt... why can't I get to test date? Anyone had success after something similar? We have one frozen embryo so clinging on to that... thanks x

It has been nearly a decade since my last IVF but I know I was told that if I bled before test date they would increase my progesterone. Was that something mentioned to you?

Hi oddboots - thanks for replying. After last time I did ask if they'd give me more this time, but they didn't seem to think I need it, but I'm now feeling so frustrated as I think it wouldn't have hurt and wish they had. I had 2 decent embryos or back this time and still can't make it past day 12 from egg collection. I'm just so heartbroken and looking for something that might help stop this happening before we try with our one little frozen embryo we got, as I don't want to waste it...

Is it definitely a period or spotting? I thought it was all over when I did ivf- got Brown spotting from about 9 days past 3d transfer. In fact I was so convinced that I held out on the test til official test date as I didn't want to know.

I was wrong. I got a bfp who is now 2 years old.

It's full on period from hell, with (tmi sorry) massive clots, so def all over I'm afraid . It's just so frustrating that by the time I get to test date I've bled more than a normal period. Happened last time too - it was a chemical last time, so wouldn't be surprised if it is this time too.
