Microgynon. When do you bleed after stopping it? Tearing my hair out here!

Hi all,

I took my last Microgynon pill Thursday gone after taking it for a month. Next step is to go for scan when I bleed and hopefully then start stimming.

I still haven't bled yet though. Nurses at Guys told me it should be a few days and still nothing?

Is this normal? I've never taken combined pill before, so I have no experience of it.

Feeling really upset about it all. Treatment has already been delayed due to me having a 50 day cycle (my cycles are crazy) followed by ten days on tablets to induce a bleed. Then onto Microgynon for a month and now I'm not bleeding again! My meds have been sitting in my fridge for weeks now

Feel like my body is just totally defective in every way!

i used to take my last pill on the sunday evening and then i'd have a bleed on the thursday evening. good luck with everything

I'm going to have to ring nurses line if there's nothing by tomorrow. I just want to start my treatment. It's really disheartening that it's dragging on like this. I'm so stressed!

It used to take 5 days for my bleed to start.

5 days? Perhaps I'm panicking prematurely then?

Nurses in ACU spoke like I would bleed within a day or two, which is why I'm now really fretting.

Still no bleed

Going for a scan tomorrow to see what's going on. Nurse I spoke to yesterday said my womb lining might not be thick enough due to my irregular periods.

I've had one bleed since December. So worried they are going to delay my treatment again. I'm sick of waiting
