Follicle size on day 12

I had a scan this morning on CD12 after taking clomid CD2-5 and I had one follicle measuring 14m and one measuring 9m. I usually ovulate around CD16 when I'm not on clomid and this is my first month on clomid. Does anyone have any advice or can comment on the follicle measurements?

I've not been on clomid, but my sonographer said follicles rupture (ovulation) at about 19-21mm, if that helps. So from my (very basic) understanding, your 14mm follicle is the leading follicle and CD16 sounds about right. Don't think the 9mm follicle would be viable. Someone more knowledgeable may come along. Follicles grown 1.5-2mm a day. It's likely you'll ovulate around cd16 so just keep DTD up until say cd20 to make sure you're covered. Good luck.
