Bleeding a week after unsuccessful EC

Hello I lurk here often and post occasionally and

I have just had my 2nd ICSI which failed after only one egg being retrieved and failing to then fertilise. The egg collection was last Monday 23rd jan and by thursday the stomach cramps had stopped and the bleeding went within the first day.

Just a bit confused as i have had period-like pains today and tonight there is bleeding. I'll ring the hospital tomorrow but just wondered if anyone had similar? I wonder if it could be an early period i can't really think why else I'd bleed at this point

Hi clue. I got my period less than a week after EC (freeze all so no transfer) and was told it was because I triggered with buserelin. Not sure why exactly.

I triggered with pregnyl and stupidly i now realise (head not been with it) I've realised i have no sanitary wear for the night as it genuinely didn't occur to me it could be a period i do have long cycles normally.

In fact i thought for a split second oooh implanation? WTF
