Day 3 blood tests results

Hi, I've just received my day 3 blood test but I have to wait another 6 months for my appointment with my fertility specialist to go through them. My GP Is going to tell me what she can but she's on holiday for the next month. In the meantime can anyone shed any light on what these results show and if there could be any issues? I actually had my blood taken on CD4 in case that makes any difference. Thanks!

LH - 11.2
FSH - 6.8
Estradiol - 122

From what I know your FSH level is very good anything below 9 is good!

Thank you. It's actually the other two I'm concerned about. There doesn't seem to be as much information available on LH and estradiol!

You want estradiol to be low at day 3, if it's high it could he artificially suppressing FSH. So you look at the two together - yours are both looking good

FSH and LH are ideally around the same general level - higher LH may be seen in cases of PCOS but a high FSH:LH ratio isn't part of the diagnostic criteria and doesn't in and of itself mean anything. If you have irregular cycles and / or any outward signs of a hormonal imbalance (eg acne or excess hair) that might be indicative of a pelvic ultrasound to look for polycystic ovaries. However on its own a slightly higher LH level doesn't really mean anything and shouldn't be any cause for concern
