Starting testing

Hello All (be gentle vipers). DH and I have been trying to conceive for over a year now. Would anyone mind talking us through how testing, etc will go. I've checked out the NHS website which seems so vague as to be useless.

I started out by visiting my gp. I had also been trying with no luck for over 1year. Your go can send u for initial tests like blood tests and ultrasounds. Dependant on the results will depend on further treatment i.e referral to the fertility clinic.

Hi ,
If you both go to gp they can refer you for initial blood tests and you partner could have a semen analysis. From this other appointments will be made for further testing if required.

Hello...we just started this over Christmas.... Had been trying to conceive for over a year. Went to gp with my partner and now have a number of years we need to do (at this stage blood tests and swabs for me and semen tests for husband). Will go back to gp after these tests and take it from there. At this first stage it has been surprisingly easy is.
