Has anyone been to Queens for their fertility treatment? Can you share your experience?

I had my fertility investigations at Queens and they then referred me for IVF at Homerton Hospital.
Happy with how the investigations went - not too long a wait between tests, unexpected cancellation came up at laparoscopy stage which was a bonus as they called me, I wasn't chasing. And there was a lovely lady called Bet who ran reception and she really helped me out when I had a massive panic one day.
Happy to go into more detail on the investigation process and Homerton IVF process as required.

Glad yours went well. Mine not so good. We had tests done and in my husbands sample was no sperm. On our last consultation doctor told us that we need to do IVF that she will refer us to. When we asked what's wrong with my husband she said she does not deal with male problems and I need to go through whole IVF ( I'm healthy and fertile) and when I'm ready they will do biopsy on my husband and if there is sperm they will carry on with prosedge if not then that's where whole process ends. I feel really confused as she kept repeating that she does not know much about male problems and didn't want to refer my husband to urologist. Not happy with them at all :(

Oh I don't blame you at all for feeling like that - sounds like you haven't been given much information and left in limbo (my problem was blocked fallopian tubes which was picked up at the HSG stage and confirmed by laparoscopy).
I think that when they refer you to the fertility clinic then they won't necessarily just start the IVF process as they will want to ensure it is the right treatment for you and will run their own tests.
I highly recommend the fertility friends website as it has so much good information and support on there for all fertility treatments.

Hi, I am about to start my first appointment for infertility investigation at Roomford Queens.
Can you please share with me what that involves and your experiences? I am very sceptical if they can help?

Thanks.
