Infertility

Bumpy tubes

Hi everyone, new to posting on the infertility board so please bear with me.

After blood tests, sperm analysis and a lap and dye last month I have been diagnosed with unexplained secondary infertility (3.5 yr old dd).

Apparently my lap showed all was well and the dye passed through the tubes however my consultant said that they were quite unusual and bumpy! I pressed him on it but he didn't really give me any explanation accept that it was nothing to worry about it and as long they were not blocked there shouldn't be a problem.

I am grateful nothing nasty was found and am really trying to get back into a positive healthy mind set to get going again to keep trying, but this is niggling at me.

Has anyone been told the same or have any more knowledge on this?

Thanks

Hi Daisy, I am sorry you find yourself here. I don't have a clue about bumpy tubes but wanted to, well, bump your question in case someone else does!

I think the main thing is that the dye went through and the consultant said it wasn't anything to worry about. In which case it was possibly not very helpful of him to remark on it but doctors can be a bit tactless.

There are a couple of threads here about secondary infertility and I'm sure they have great info (I'm trying for number 1 so can't advise) ... Really hope you get your second baby soon. Good luck Flowers
