HSG appointment

I've finally seen a consultant for fertility investigation. I've been ttc for over 2 years and had an early MC May 2015 and nothing since. My FSH is 9.4 which I understand is slightly high, LH 3.6 and prog 48.4. I've been advised to phone up for a HSG on the first day of my period as I need it done within the first 10 days but I've worked out that I'm away from my dp during my fertile window, I might just get back on the last day but I doubt it, so do I wait and book the HSG when I next get a period as I've heard that provided there are no issues I might have a greater chance of conceiving after a HSG? Or do I just get it done asap? I'll also have an ultrasound in 8-10 weeks time. Any advice or experience ladies. Btw I'm 38 and could do with losing 1 1/2 stone😞

I weirdly got pregnant with my dd after my hsg, but not sure if it was that which triggered it, or the dose of nothisterone that I took first..... I had quite a long cycle so could never have been sure what the trigger was, but I have heard that the HSG can help!

I'd do it ASAP and so you get info as soon as poss.
