Prostap/Lupron - has anyone had this? Experiences?

Hi!

Has anyone had Prostap/Lupron injections for endometriosis? If so, how did you get on with it? Did you have add-back HRT? And did anyone have successful pregnancies after finishing the treatment?

I'm having my first injection tomorrow and I'm so scared it's unreal. I don't want to go through all this for no end result... Been trying for a little one on and off for well over a year and I've had two laparoscopies with HSG but no luck yet! I'm 25 and generally healthy apart from the endo.

Any advice or stories would help, positive or negative experiences too!

Had Prostap as part of my cancer treatment as I believe it knocks you into chemically induced menopause?? It was used to try and preserve my ovaries while I had chemo.

Its obvs a weird drug as it is also used for men with prostate cancer and women with endo so NO idea what it might do for endo.

I had menopause side effects while on it - hot flushes and aches, but I was on it long term - I imagine there are various doses for different reasons!
