First period after miscarriage

Hi,

I recently had a miscarriage and thought things were getting back to normal as I got a positive on opk a few weeks ago but my period still hasn't shown up. I'm now five days late which isn't normal as my luteal phase is always 14 days and doesn't ever vary. Definitely not pregnant as tests are negative.

Anyone had anything similar?

Yes, it took me a good 3 months after each of my miscarriages for my cycle length to return to normal

Thanks for your response and so sorry you've been through this more than once. I think I was being a bit optimistic thinking that my luteal phase would stay the same!

Stuck in limbo then until it arrives... Grrr
