Initial bloods question

I went to my GP in April as DH and I had been trying unsuccessfully since November 2014. DH had a semen analysis in June and he has a very poor count with 0% morphology and we've been told it is unlikely that it will happen for us.

I asked for the initial blood tests to be done in April and the GP has only just given the go ahead this morning. My period is due on Saturday but we are off on holiday Saturday morning. I know it's coming. I have 27 day cycles and have had since I started tracking them in 2014. If I had the blood test on Friday, one day early, would that seriously harm my chances of a referral to the fertility specialist?

The tests need to be done day 2-4 xx

Thank you bananafish81 my GP has written day 1-5 on the top of the blood form but he also quoted the wrong PCT's IVF requirements and delayed the whole process by four months so that's not surprising. Thanks again, I'll jut have to wait until next month.
