Hi Guys, I have used mumsnet over the past couple of years and got some really good advice and support and hope someone will be able to offer some again.
I have a very close family member whom I have promised to help/support over the next year with IVF process. She had an eptopic pregnancy two years ago and one of her fallopian tubes had to be removed after the surgery. She is now a single women looking to start IVF treatment and has been refused help from the NHS as she is over 35. Open to using clinics abroad as well. Does anyone have any experiences or advice on where to start?

She should register with the Fertility Friends website. There is loads of support on there, especially for women going it alone...

Also lots of reviews and advice about clinics, which will be specific to her particular preferences/needs around treatment

How did she get on? How hard was it doing it all alone and then with the baby afterwards?
