IVF - anyone starting round 2?

Just starting my FSH injections this week (gonal) and wondering if anyone else is in my boat? Last time I was pretty emotionally unsteady (especially at the end) but this it feels that way right at the start. I want to have a positive, relaxed go this time, and feel like I'm messing up. All advice, all anything, welcome.

Me - I've just started norethisterone today. 9 days of that, then I start stims with my period (in about 11 days). I paid for my drugs today, so it must be happening! Last time we got 5 decent blasts but the 4 we transferred (1 FET and a fresh transfer) did not take, so as I am now 41 we are trying to take some of the guess work out of it.

Yep - paying for the drugs is definitely the wake-up call that it's happening. So sorry to hear about your 4. We had 2 embs transferred & that not working out was tough, especially as everything's paid for this time around.

Know what you mean about taking out guess work. We're going for PICSI this time (inject sperm to egg like icsi but they choose the super sperm only) as last time they discovered my eggs are the fertility equivalent of slags and let in loads of sperm. Who knew?!
