Anyone just starting a cycle or about to?

I've just got the dates through for my first FET to TTC#2. My first LO is 18 months and was made with the help of ICSI and IVF. I start down regulating in a few weeks.

I've already gone through various emotions and I know there are a lot more to come! Anxiety and indecision wondering how I will cope with a second child if we're that lucky and the possible age gap. Sadness that my clinic told me I had to wean DD1 from the breast. Guilt at thinking about another and no longer 100% about her. (Especially if I weaned her and it doesn't work). Stupid thoughts that led me to test without telling DH when my second postpartum period (after weaning) didn't show on time (only spotting, false hope that it was implantation bleed. It's nearly impossible for us to conceive naturally though. AF came this weekend so here I am). Scared that it won't work. The stats are lower for FET and we only have 2 frosties.

The first injection will be at the end of a family holiday. I probably won't be drinking but don't really want to tell them why not yet. Despite all this I am excited too!

Anyone want to join me as cycle buddies?

I was just going to ask how today went Goodthings then saw your update :) that's great!!!!!!! So pleased the follies went for it :) will be thinking of you Tuesday! Have you got tomorrow off? If so, really do take time to look after yourself as Tuesday will feel exhausting. I made sure the house/washing etc was all sorted so that after EC we could really just chill.

Tata yay!!!! Feels so good when you are actively doing something and now you are another step closer!!! Fingers x!!!!!

So I am patiently waiting for Friday... Will obv let you guys know, will be afternoon before we are both home!
My boobs are sore! And bigger (which is awesome as I am completely flat chested ) but although I am desperately hoping its because I am pregnant, the copious pessaries of progesterone I am on probably have something to do with it !!!

I had acupuncture yesterday.. I casually asked the other day if she would be able to tell from my pulse how the land was lying as it were! She said yes but it's not an exact science and she couldn't professionally tell me anyway! She got the giggles yesterday reading my pulse as I was eyeballing her whoops! Hehehe xxxxx

Hi Elle's, yes got all week off in case ET is during the week and doesn't make 5 days (Sunday), assuming we get that far!

Hi Elles, yup things are moving and that feels great!! I've got a scan booked for next week to check how Clomid is working (I'm taking it today til Friday), fingers crossed it is and we can make the most of the ovulation window

Good luck with the symptom spotting - it's not an easy one to avoid...and it can quickly drive you crazy!! But not long before you can test, that's SO exciting!!

Fcuk are you about to test soon? You were trying to catch an ovulation last week is that right? How are you feeling?

Hello, I'm new to the thread.

I had two 3 day embryos transferred last Monday.

It's my first IVF although I've had iui's before. One resulted in a pregnancy that I miscarried at 11 weeks.

I couldn't resist and did a test this lunchtime. I think I can see a very feint line but I'm not sure.

Hope everyone is doing well? We're just about coming into the 2ww now...am not feeling overly optimistic as this cycle we've kind of been left to our own devices but not ruling anything out. And we have been putting serious effort in to making sure ov week wasn't wasted. My day 21 bloods tomorrow should give us a clearer picture then 29/11 with the clinic if no pregnancy between now and then for tubal dye scan. Obv ive got my fingers crossed for a nice little positive test in time for mine and dh's anniversary on bonfire night 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Findingmyfeet, I think I can see a very faint line, so fingers crossed, are you going to test again tomorrow?

Fcuk - keeping everything crossed you get a BFP before tube investigations have to start .

So I'm going in tomorrow for EC, feeling very nervous, but glad to be getting it done, as you all know I was so scared of having it cancelled, so I'm chuffed to get this far . Will keep you posted with how many they get! Xxx

Yes, they froze one at blastocyst stage. They were going to freeze two but we asked for two to be transferred and as I'm nearly 37 they agreed.

We were told they wouldn't put two back in (I'm 40 in February), maybe we can ask?

A twin pregnancy is tough going so I guess they have their reasons. I think the only reason we asked was because we couldn't imagine being lucky enough for both embryos to implant.

I bought another test on my way home from work and I'm going to use it tomorrow morning.

Goodthings... They usually transfer 2 blasts if over 35... With me they only did two because they were not quite there... Worth checking! Xx

Tested again this morning and bfn.

The whole thing has been more gruelling than I imagined and now I have to face it all over again.

So I took the first clomid last night, and have had a pretty bad night with hot/cold sweats and weird dreams. This week is going to be fun! (not)
Elles, the scan next week is to check the ovulation (I think), it'll be on cd11 so I'm assuming they'll be able to tell if clomid is working as it should and if a little egg is on its way to we can get at it like rabbits try with real chances of it working naturally.

Finding feet I expect it is still too early if they were three day embies? We have been told Friday for OTD which is 16 days after but really yours would be Friday too? Don't lose heart just yet.

Thanks for the nice comments. I'm 8 days post transfer today so you could be right.

We had a letter from the hospital this morning saying our remaining embryo didn't survive to freezing stage.

I hate all the false "symptoms" from the meds. My boobs are huge and a bit painful and I keep having twinges in my belly button which I've only ever had when I was pregnant.

AFM, after all the apprehension, they collected 13 eggs and find out tomorrow how they got on. I was so pleased with that amount, let's hope they are quality xxx

2 weeks & counting till I have my baseline scan & start injections.....
