3 day transfer success stories please!

Hi there, I had egg collection for IVF yesterday and they harvested 15 eggs. We were over the moon. But this morning we were told that only 1 had fertilised and so they will put it back in on day 3. I need some positivity as we were really hoping for a 5 day transfer and i can't help thinking it won't work.

3 day transfer worked for me in 2014. Ds is now 17 months old. It was our first round too. It can happen! Good luck.

Hey bear I had egg collection on Monday, retrieved 15 eggs and had transfer yesterday at 3 days. Fingers crossed for us both!

Hopefully we'll bear some more encouraging stories soon!

Hi there Bear!!! I had a 2 day transfer as they only got 2 eggs in total, both fertilised, 1 took and am nearly 18 weeks pregnant. I think I got the golden Easter egg as I found out was pregnant on Easter Sunday. Mine was first round ivf too. It's very possible that this could b the case for you. Best of luck.

Hi ever- 18 weeks! Wow look at you! How has your pregnancy been so far? I'm ok thanks. I just had my second child- he is now 3 weeks old.Smile

Worked for my best friend. She had two previous failed 5 day transfers. They phoned her on day 2 of her third go and said, we need to transfer them early, they did and she now has a 2 year old. Good lucky OP X

Thank you ladies Smile so I had my transfer this morning, turns out it's a nice little 8-cell embryo so they seemed hopeful. Now need to try and be as good to myself as you can be with a 2.5 year old in tow Confused

My OTD is Monday but I think I'm gonna use a FRER on Sunday as don't want to be upset at work on Monday. Pretty sure it should be accurate by then-EC for me was 27th.

Feel a bit Confused -no symptoms really and even if there were it'd probably be the Progesterone. I have lost all faith that this can work for me to be honest (multiple disaster cycles)-am just going through the motions for DH really. I want to be pg and will be devastated if not, I just don't think it'll work.

I got a BFP!!!!

Thought it might be the case as have symptoms of late onset ohss-my belly is agony!

Hoping and praying it's sticky!

Fantastic news mrschris... That's great!! Fingers crossed for a sticky bean, I know how nervewracking the early days are!!

Chattycat- congrats on birth of 2 Nd baby. Wow the pregnancy flew by. Proof in that low Amh s can fall pregnant and have a take home baby and in your case, 2. Very happy for you.. As for mine am 19 weeks today and still being sick quite frequently so am telling myself these are strong pregnancy hormones and I ve got a real fighter here. Scan is a week on monday

I feel pregnant and having been pregnant twice know how that feels but i've never had a fresh cycle plus cyclogest before so keeping a lid on my hopes in case it's a red herring.

Thanks bear, I really hope you are pregnant! IVF is such a headfuck with the side effects mimicking pregnancy! When are you going to test?

I had success with 2/3 day 3 transfers.
We also had low fert rates each time which i think was maybe early collection due to ohss risk because of pcos. On one round only 1 frrtilised normally.

Hi Mrs Chris, it was BFN this morning sadly. Thank you for thinking of me though! I'll keep taking the meds until Sat even though they make me feel rank, then will hassle them about doing a FET cycle. We have some blasts from 3 years ago which I feel positive about, would-be twins for our 2.5 year old daughter! The reason we didn't use them first was to give my eggs a chance (DD is from my partner's egg) but I'm ready to let that go now.
